The watching world is seeing less of Jesus through the Church these days. The gap between the Church and the communities we serve is only growing. It seems like we’ve lost our way.

And it’s hard to find churches who model effective ways to bridge that gap. Most ministry networks focus on filling seats, but they don’t equip church leaders for the community impact, radical inclusivity and life transformation you see in Jesus’s ministry.

WE’RE LEADERS’ VILLAGE

Leaders’ Village is a network of practical and innovative ministry leaders who want to reclaim Jesus’ Way in our communities together. We want to close the “Gandhi Gap” and to link arms with other church leaders who are seeking to form Jesus in individuals in order to transform their communities.

We understand pursuing the Way of Jesus is hard, exhausting, lonely and even-heartbreaking. We know the world is always changing and if the Church isn’t changing faster, it becomes irrelevant. And we understand that pursuing Jesus’ Way is a messy and life-long work.

Leaders’ Village is guided by in-the-trenches local church leaders who’ve been pursuing Jesus’ Way for 25 years. Our founder, Jeff Lockyer, is the Lead Pastor of Southridge Community Church and the author of the acclaimed ministry leadership book, Finding Our Way: Reclaiming the First-Century Church in the 21st Century.

Over the past quarter-century, Southridge relocated and reinvented its ministry to serve the homeless, support low-income families, befriend migrant seasonal farmworkers, empower female leaders, include LGBTQ+ people and stimulate racial diversity. Southridge’s innovative ministry approach has been profiled in multiple church leadership books, podcasts, and conferences.

And Leaders’ Village actively partners with ministries around the world, including Global Leadership Network, Compassion, Alpha, and Jesus Collective.
